However, the rollout is not uniform globally. In the European Economic Area, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the U.S. states of Texas and Illinois, the ability to edit non-AI-generated videos is not available at launch, presumably due to local regulations regarding biometric data and AI-generated content. Google has not yet announced when these regions will gain full feature access.

The phased rollout timeline is tied to Google Workspace's standard release channels. Rapid Release domains began receiving the features on July 16, 2026, with a rollout window of up to 15 days, while Scheduled Release domains will begin on August 5, 2026, also with up to 15 days for full deployment.
