Taiwanese investigators widened their work in May, examining three people suspected of using forged export documents to route Supermicro servers containing advanced NVIDIA chips to China. Further searches followed in June at Supermicro-related sites and locations associated with distributor Albatron Technology and data center operator Chief Telecom. Supermicro stated the company itself was not a target of the investigation.
