The update also introduces a blind spot detection feature that prevents door opening when an approaching object, such as a bicyclist, is detected nearby. A chime sounds as a warning, and owners must press the button a second time to override the alert.

Dashcam recordings are now encrypted by default when saved to USB flash drives, with only the vehicle able to view them without decryption. Navigation has also received substantial upgrades. The new lane guidance feature shows drivers which lanes to take to follow their route, requiring Online Routing and Maps version 2026.20 or later. The maps now display weather data, including different types of precipitation like rain and snow, along with the past hour of weather history to help drivers anticipate conditions along their route.
