HIVE Digital Technologies, which operates renewable energy-powered data centers, recently appointed Mark Volk as Senior Vice President of Revenue to lead commercialization of sovereign AI solutions. Volk brings nearly three decades of experience building AI and high-performance computing businesses at companies like Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and IBM.

HIVE's subsidiary, BUZZ High Performance Computing, is building a global AI infrastructure platform that serves enterprise, government, sovereign AI, hyperscale, research, and academic markets. The company surpassed $1 million in average daily revenue as of August 21, 2026, combining Bitcoin mining operations with GPU cloud services. BUZZ HPC has closed more than $600 million in total contract value for GPU cloud contracts year-to-date, including three- and five-year agreements with creditworthy counterparties.
