Indonesia has launched a sovereign healthcare AI platform designed to give the nation control over its own medical artificial intelligence systems while keeping patient data within national borders. PT Articura Tech Indonesia announced the foundation of its Sovereign Healthcare AI Platform on July 27, bringing together five major institutions across clinical care, academia, research, and industry to jointly develop and validate healthcare AI capabilities tailored to Indonesian needs.

Which Organizations Are Part of Indonesia's New Healthcare AI Network?

Articura is beginning this initiative through memoranda of understanding with five organizations representing complementary parts of the healthcare innovation ecosystem:

• PT AXIS PERIFER SENTRAL: A healthcare provider specializing in pediatric care and pediatric endocrinology, keeping the platform grounded in specialized medicine realities.
• PT Pragati Klinik Medika (Fokus Medika): A primary healthcare provider offering general medical and dental services, representing frontline care needs.
• Orbiva Limited: A subsidiary of Hong Kong-listed Home Control International Limited, focused on healthcare AI and digital health, serving as Articura's first industrial partner with international experience in AIoT-enabled home healthcare.

This combination spans national referral care, university research, specialized medicine, primary healthcare, and industrial technology, creating a foundation for understanding needs across different care environments and validating priority use cases.
