Bridge is engineered with what Zeroth calls an "AI-native architecture," meaning its hardware, motion stack, and developer interfaces are purpose-built for real-world deployment and community-driven development from the ground up. Unlike traditional robots limited to fixed, pre-programmed movements, Bridge ships with a broad set of capabilities out of the box, including stable bipedal walking, intelligent obstacle avoidance, and a full library of natural, human-like movements and choreography.

The robot's compact design makes it practical for developers. At just 13 kilograms with 30 to 40 centimeter arms and two-finger grippers, Bridge is small enough to fit in a lab or classroom while remaining capable of meaningful physical interaction. Developers gain full access to underlying software development kits (SDKs), open motion-control application programming interfaces (APIs), and motion capture and virtual reality integration, enabling custom algorithm deployment and personalized skill creation.

OpenBridge is structured as a collaborative platform where developers can co-build, share, and co-create robot capabilities. Steps to Participate in the Bridge Developer Ecosystem

  • Bridge Builder Program Enrollment: Zeroth launched the Bridge Builder Program to invite developers worldwide to participate. In its first phase, 500 developers will be shortlisted for a co-creation challenge, with the top 200 receiving complimentary access to experience Bridge and participate in OpenBridge ecosystem co-creation.
  • Priority Purchase Access: The remaining 300 shortlisted developers will receive priority purchase access to the Bridge Geek Edition, SDK access, and eligibility for subsequent openings in the program.

The launch of Bridge and OpenBridge arrives as the robotics industry faces pressure to move beyond prototype demonstrations toward practical, deployable systems. While other companies like Faraday Future are pivoting from electric vehicles to humanoid robots, Zeroth's approach emphasizes community-driven development rather than top-down engineering.
