Starting in June 2026, the company participated in a demonstration flight program with BETA's ALIA electric aircraft in Hawaii. Hawaii's geography makes it an ideal testing ground: short average stage lengths between islands and high-frequency interisland routes align perfectly with eVTOL capabilities. By operating the largest commuter airline network in Hawaii through Mokulele Airlines, Surf Air Mobility has both the infrastructure and the passenger volume to generate real operational data.
