Lovable Hits $13.3B Valuation as AI App Builder Reaches 60 Million Projects
Lovable, the AI-powered platform for building software without traditional coding, has raised $400 million at a $13.3 billion valuation, signaling explosive growth in the no-code AI space. The Stockholm-based company has grown from 25 million projects in December 2025 to 60 million today, while monthly visits to applications built on its platform have surged from 200 million to 900 million.
How Is Lovable Changing the Way Companies Build Software?
Lovable's platform allows founders, employees, and other users to create applications and internal software without writing code. Since launching in November 2024, the platform has become a tool for both startups building new businesses and established enterprises replacing legacy systems. The company says its platform reached employees at half of the Fortune 500 within its first year, and that figure has since increased to nearly two-thirds.
The Series C round was led by Menlo Ventures, with the Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT, serving as co-lead. New investors include Balderton Capital, Carmignac, Kaszek Ventures, LTS Growth, Tencent, World Innovation Lab, and Regent, while returning backers include Accel, Antler, CapitalG, DST Global, Evantic Capital, HubSpot Ventures, and Salesforce Ventures.
"For me, the most important part of a funding announcement is the accountability that comes with it," said Anton Osika, Lovable co-founder.

What Real-World Results Are Companies Seeing?
Real-world adoption tells a compelling story. Nursa, a US healthcare workforce platform, used Lovable to create Nursa Study, an enterprise product for nursing schools. According to Lovable, Nursa's Vice President of Product built the initial product in one weekend. The company has since made Lovable available to more than 200 employees and is retiring 10 software-as-a-service systems as teams create their own tools.
In Brazil, AI education company Viver de IA used Lovable to build its customer relationship management, finance, website, and AI sales development representative workflows. The 54-person company serves more than 1,200 clients and is on course for R$100 million in revenue this year. Established companies including Adidas, NVIDIA, and Deutsche Telekom are also using the platform to create internal software and develop new products.
Steps to Understand Lovable's Platform Expansion
- New Capabilities: Since its Series B in December 2025, Lovable has added payment functionality, search engine optimization, AI search tools, and integrations for Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Stripe, and ElevenLabs.
- Security Enhancements: The platform now includes automatic and scheduled scanning, governance and visibility controls, and trust centers for publicly published applications. Lovable has also received AIUC-1 certification, which it describes as the first security standard for AI agents.
- Future Roadmap: Lovable plans to make the platform more proactive, allowing it to identify tasks requiring attention and increasingly carry out work without waiting for a prompt. Further integrations are intended to connect software built through Lovable with sales, operations, marketing, and other business systems.
The company says it will remain model-independent, selecting different AI models for individual tasks and continuing to post-train open-source models. This approach allows Lovable to optimize performance for specific use cases rather than relying on a single AI model.
What Do the Growth Numbers Actually Mean?
The metrics reveal a platform hitting inflection points. Annual recurring revenue nearly tripled over eight months, though Lovable did not disclose its starting or current ARR figures. User survey data supplied by Lovable indicates that almost eight in 10 respondents are building a business or side project they hope to monetize, with more than one-third of that group already earning revenue.
Lovable plans to grow to approximately 450 employees this year, with recruitment focused on machine learning, product, infrastructure, and security. The company will retain its center of operations in Stockholm while expanding its presence in London, Boston, San Francisco, and New York. This geographic expansion mirrors the company's ambition to serve both startup founders and enterprise teams globally.
The funding round underscores a broader shift in software development. As AI models become more capable at understanding intent and generating functional code, platforms like Lovable are democratizing application development. The ability to build production-grade software in a weekend, rather than months, represents a fundamental change in how businesses can respond to market opportunities and internal needs.
